We are currently seeking a dedicated Locum MD/DO (Medical Doctor/Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Pathology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients. Your expertise in pathology will be essential in diagnosing diseases and contributing to patient care. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of medical cases and make a significant impact on healthcare outcomes. Responsibilities:
Performing diagnostic tests on patient samples to identify diseases. Analyzing and interpreting laboratory results to provide accurate diagnoses. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to determine the best course of treatment. Documenting findings and maintaining accurate patient records. Staying updated on the latest advancements and technologies in the field of pathology. Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protocols. Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases. Providing guidance and mentorship to medical staff and students. Requirements:
Medical degree (MD or DO) with a specialization in Pathology. Licensure to practice medicine in the designated location. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and accuracy in diagnostic procedures. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Experience working with laboratory equipment and technology. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p Rotating call, every 4 weeks Case Volume: 25-30 sign-outs per day Preferred Experience: Frozen sections, fine needle aspiration biopsies, ROSE EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
