Overview
Talent Acquisition Coordinator at New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center (NYPCC) supports the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager with recruitment, onboarding, branding, marketing, engagement, and other HR initiatives. This role requires a motivated, mission-driven individual with strong recruiting, presentation, and communication skills who thrives in both virtual and in-person environments. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator represents NYPCC at career fairs, colleges, and community events to attract top-tier candidates aligned with our mission and values.
Compensation and Benefits
Base pay range: $60,000–$70,000 per year

All information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. Weekly travel is required to Queens, Brooklyn, and Bronx locations. Position will be fully on-site with potential to move to a hybrid model.
Duties and Responsibilities Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Conduct full-cycle recruitment: screen, evaluate, and interview candidates using effective methods.
Represent NYPCC at virtual and in-person events (college recruiting, job fairs, community events).
Draft job descriptions and post positions on internal and external boards.
Source and screen candidates to ensure alignment with role requirements.
Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers.
Communicate with candidates to ensure a positive experience.
Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Track and analyze recruitment metrics to improve efficiency.
Build relationships with schools, colleges, and community organizations.
Recruitment Marketing & Branding
Collaborate to implement recruitment marketing and employer branding strategies.
Leverage social media and branding campaigns to promote NYPCC opportunities.
Act as a visible ambassador for NYPCC's values at recruitment touchpoints.
Pre-Onboarding & Credentialing
Collect and verify pre-employment documents and credentials; manage background checks and I-9 compliance.
Coordinate credentialing for licensed staff with HR support.
Prepare onboarding schedules and orientation materials; serve as primary contact for new hires during pre-onboarding.
Collaboration & Administration
Work with HR Specialist and Hiring Managers to ensure smooth onboarding.
Provide updates on candidate and credentialing status to HR leadership.
Support orientation sessions and assist with filling vacancies quickly and effectively.
Ensure compliance with HR laws and internal policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or related field.
2–4 years of recruitment or HR coordination experience.
Proven success with in-person and virtual recruiting (job fairs, college recruiting, community outreach).
Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills; confident public speaker.
High energy, mission-driven, professional demeanor.
Excellent time management; ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
Social media savvy with branding/recruitment marketing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work across diverse cultures and levels; positive, can‑do attitude; adaptable to change.
Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle to travel across Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens.
Additional Information Salary $60,000–$70,000 per year.
