Job Details Our firm is seeking a Real Estate Attorney to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key player, focusing primarily on commercial real estate matters. This position will involve a broad range of responsibilities including lending, leasing, and transactions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial real estate documents including leases, purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and other related documents.
Advise clients on legal aspects of real estate transactions, including the negotiation, drafting and review of contracts, leases, and purchase offers.
Conduct due diligence investigations and analyze legal risks related to commercial real estate transactions.
Provide legal advice on property management issues, tenant disputes, and contract compliance.
Represent clients in court or before government agencies, if necessary.
Keep up-to-date with changes in real estate regulations and laws.
Collaborate effectively with a team of attorneys and paralegals.
Qualifications
Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the NY state bar.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate law, with a focus on lending, leasing, and transactions.
Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
