Responsibilities
Proactively builds strong relationships, connections, and understanding with leaders and employees, acting as a partner advisors;
Address employee concerns and offer better understanding of HR policies and procedures;
Support the #APerformance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms, and provide support to the HR Director in order to guide managers as needed;
Prepare employment offers and/or work contracts for promotions, transfers, and new hires in coordination with recruitment, department management, and leadership;
Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new employees are integrated smoothly into the organization and have the necessary resources to succeed;
Assist in talent management activities such as workforce planning and performance management under the guidance of the HR Director;
Assist in employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures;
Support the HR team to implement HR programs and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys and talent development programs;
Assist the HR team to identify training needs within the organization to enhance employee skills and competencies;
Utilize HR metrics and analytics to track key performance indicators, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement;
Adhere to and apply HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations;
Serve as an ambassador for the #1ANDRITZway culture and values and promote a positive work environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field;
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in human resources;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws;
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion;
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite;
Upholding high ethical standards and integrity in all HR practices and decisions;
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed; estimated 5-15%;
HR certification an asset.
