The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and have a background in assembly line processes. This role is crucial for ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will lead a team of 15 workers, manage daily operations, and implement best practices to enhance productivity.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the team to ensure efficient production processes.
Oversee the production process, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members on proper use of machinery.
Monitor workflow and adjust schedules as necessary to meet production deadlines.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain safety compliance.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and resolve any production issues.
Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance outcomes.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Familiarity with forklift operation is preferred.
