Powers Health is hiring for Environmental Services in Munster, IN. This position reports to the Environmental Services Director and assists in creating a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities
Perform basic cleaning in accordance with Joint Commission standards, including sweeping, mopping, stripping, scrubbing, refinishing, vacuuming, and spot cleaning.
Clean and polish surfaces, both vertical and horizontal; clean windows, change window treatments, and wash walls.
Collect, transport, and dispose of medical waste or clean/dirty linen.
Maintain environmental services equipment such as floor scrubbers and vacuum cleaners.
Cleans and disinfects patient rooms during hospital stay and after discharge.
Assist pest control by reporting rodents and insects to the maintenance department.
Restock sanitation products in assigned areas.
Move furniture or heavy objects to provide clean pathways.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
No prior experience required.
Ability to read written instructions and understand verbal instructions in English.
