Senior FP&A Analyst | Birmingham, AL (Hybrid)

We’re partnering with a global leader in industrial distribution that’s transforming its finance organization and building a dedicated Investments & Capital Expenditures function within FP&A. This newly created role offers the chance to influence decision‑making at the enterprise level and support strategic growth through both organic expansion and M&A.

The Opportunity As the

Senior FP&A Analyst , you’ll play a key role in

capital planning, ROI analysis, and strategic financial modeling

to support major investment initiatives. This role is ideal for an analytical, business‑minded finance professional who thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys building structure within a growing organization.

What You’ll Do

Partner with Finance and Operations leadership to evaluate and optimize capital investments

Lead ROI and return‑on‑capital analyses to drive data‑informed decisions

Support budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning for capital expenditures

Build dynamic financial models, dashboards, and performance metrics to improve visibility

Identify and implement process improvements to standardize reporting and enhance automation

Contribute to executive‑level insights and presentations that influence strategic direction

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field

5+ years of experience

in FP&A, Accounting, or Business Analysis

Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills

Proficiency in

Excel, Power BI (or similar tools), and ERP systems

(PeopleSoft a plus)

ROI modeling and

capital project analysis

experience highly preferred

Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills with strong business acumen
