Hyve Managed Hosting
As a Technical Sales Executive at Hyve, you will help our customers design, build, migrate to, and optimize cloud/hosting infrastructure solutions that are secure, reliable, high-performance, and cost-efficient. You will act as a bridge between the customer’s business needs & technical implementation, offering expert advice, designing architectures, guiding migrations, and ensuring ongoing best practice in operations, cost, security and compliance.
Responsibilities
Engage inbound leads: respond promptly to website or referral enquiries, run discovery sessions, and qualify prospects
Conduct outbound outreach to targeted prospects in key industries; using email, LinkedIn, and events — to introduce Hyve’s managed cloud offerings
Design cloud/hosting architectures for both new and existing systems: private cloud, managed cloud, hybrid cloud, dedicated servers, etc., using Hyve’s platforms and vendor partners
Apply best practices in security, compliance, governance: ensure architectures meet required standards (e.g., data protection / regulatory compliance), recommend security layers (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, encryption at rest/in transit, etc.)
Meet with prospects to understand their business goals, existing infrastructure, workloads, compliance/security needs, performance requirements, etc.

Skills & Experience
Several years of experience working in cloud / managed hosting / infrastructure roles.
Track record of driving revenue through strategic selling and negotiation techniques, face to face presentations, and high-quality proposals.
Experience with VMware, Red Hat, Nutanix preferred.
Use a consultative, positive, solution-focused mentality at all times with a proactive and can-do attitude.
Fantastic customer service skills and ability to resolve questions efficiently and effectively.
Customer‑centric mindset: willing to understand business needs, and deliver exceptional support/guidance rather than just tech.
Personal Attributes
You love dealing with business owners and have a talent for understanding their own agendas and challenges.
