Guaranty Bank & Trust . You will serve as a member of the Lending division responsible for the development and management of a commercial loan portfolio, focusing on quality loan opportunities and maintaining a high‑quality portfolio.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage a commercial loan portfolio for the bank.
Focus on high‑quality loans, including C&I and owner‑occupied CRE loans; knowledge of SBA loans is required.
Prospect and source new loans as a calling officer.
Demonstrate superior credit skills and loan management abilities for presenting new loans and maintaining existing portfolio.
Develop measurable goals and objectives focused on customer service and long‑term profits.
Work closely with management to formulate strategic planning goals and objectives to grow the bank’s loan portfolio and net income while providing loan services to customers.
Stay abreast of industry and professional trends and products to ensure effectiveness and profitability of the bank’s services.
Promote a positive image and growth of the bank.
Comply with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and company policies.
Complete required regulatory compliance training.
Participate in project meetings.
Assist with secondary oversight of lobby services.
Manage personal banking, cash operations and loan floor supervisors.
Provide daily oversight in the absence of the market supervisor/president.
Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills
Sound knowledge of lending products and services.
Strong knowledge of compliance with Federal and State banking regulations.
Self‑motivated with strong work ethic and ability to handle high‑pressure situations.
Exceptional management, organizational, planning, and project management skills.
Excellent written, communication and customer‑relations skills.
Ability to set strategic goals and ensure high quality of products and services.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Must live within 45 minutes of the bank’s location.
Education, Experience & Licenses
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or business‑related field required.
Minimum of three years of Commercial Lending experience.
Formal credit training – preferred.
