Responsibilities

Always comply with Pactiv’s safety and environmental policies, programs, and procedures (lockout/tagout, PPE, ladder safety, electrical safety, machine shop/tool safety, and powered vehicle safety).

Ownership of CMMS asset hierarchy and preventive maintenance requirements across all facilities, production/support equipment, and tooling.

Daily ownership of CMMS work order flow, scheduling, and documentation (assign work orders, review completion status, close orders).

Interact with all CMMS work requesters to clarify scope and ensure timely completion.

Collaborate with plant engineering, maintenance, production, scheduling, and contractors to plan, schedule, and execute all maintenance work—excluding shift/emergency repairs—to maximize equipment reliability and minimize cost/waste.

Work closely with the storeroom to organize planned work order packages into parts kits before scheduled completion.

Accurately estimate times and costs (labor and parts/materials) for maintenance work—except shift/emergency repairs.

Assist in CMMS planning and execution of capital projects and equipment upgrades.

Lead a weekly CMMS planned maintenance scheduling meeting with plant engineering, maintenance, and production resources.

Apply MTBF and root‑cause analysis techniques to drive continuous improvement.

Operate in a fast‑paced, collaborative, and lean manufacturing environment encouraging waste elimination through the Pactiv Business System.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent required.

3+ years of maintenance experience with industrial production/support equipment (electromechanical drives, compressed air, hydraulics, vacuum, process water systems).

Experience with a CMMS such as Maintenance Connection, MP2, Maximo preferred.

Experience with SAP preferred.

Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills at all organizational levels.

Proactive and self‑motivated with ability to schedule, manage, and complete multiple assignments/projects concurrently with minimal supervision.

Proficiency in reading/interpreting mechanical drawings preferred.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

Must obtain a lift truck license within 60 days of hire/promotion.

Must safely lift up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to work safely in a moderately conditioned industrial process manufacturing environment.

Work schedules may be non‑traditional; will be coordinated in advance when possible.
