Director of Revenue Management
for the Holiday Inn Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN. This dual-property, remote with light travel role leads revenue strategy across all segments to drive profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Drive revenue and profitability by exceeding targets for RevPAR, RGI, GOP, sell‑out efficiency, and optimal business mix.
Lead analytical efforts for room sales, optimizing group patterns, rates, and transient mix.
Serve as owner liaison, maintaining a pulse on key concerns and driving results.
Develop and implement financial control procedures, maintain audit documents, and ensure compliance with government regulations and contractual agreements.
Direct preparation of budgets, financial forecasts and reporting.
Develop and implement market‑responsive pricing strategies, leveraging data and brand tools to influence occupancy and revenue.
Implement holistic asset management across rooms, outlets, upsell, and ancillary opportunities.
Support yield efforts via analysis and reporting to mine revenue opportunities based on budget, forecast, pace, and market demand.
Improve systems management (N2P, Concerto, Opera, OTA extranets, Delphi, etc.) and partner with sales for analysis, training, and data collection.
Identify demand periods and build strategic plans with Sales Management.
Maintain and analyze market intelligence reports (Demand 360, STR, Lighthouse, Tableau, etc.).
Produce and analyze reports for weekly strategy/yield meetings, providing insight and recommendations on pricing, availability, demand, and promotional opportunities.
Update daily 120‑day forecast by segment and review weekly.
Build working relationships with third‑party vendors, including on‑site food and beverage revenue generators.
Analyze citywide and special events, implementing revenue‑management strategies.
Optimize and monitor marketing channels, including national and local account productions.
Champion upselling platforms and lead weekly revenue strategy meetings.
Partner with digital marketing teams on SEO/SEM strategy and web content optimization.
Qualifications
Hybrid on‑property and remote with light travel required.
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field; MBA preferred.
4–6 years of revenue management or hotel sales/reservations experience.
Deep understanding of pricing and yield optimization strategies.
Incisive analytical skills and excellent problem‑recognition and resolution abilities.
Strong leadership skills and enthusiastic team spirit.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Highly motivated, flexible, and initiative‑driven in a high‑pressure environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and eagerness to learn new technology.
Benefits and Compensation
Annual salary range: $110,000 – $115,000, plus bonus eligibility.
