Operations Analyst Sr - Simulation Engineer

You will be the Operations Analyst for the Industrial Engineering team. Our team is responsible for applying manufacturing and Industrial Engineering concepts to support site‑wide production.
What You Will Be Doing As the Operations Analyst Sr, you will be responsible for using discrete event simulation modeling to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting capacity analysis to identify bottlenecks and optimize production workflows
Performing span reduction analysis to streamline processes and reduce waste
Conducting throughput analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize production rates
Analyzing and reducing Hours Per Unit (HPU) to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs
Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive change and implement process improvements to optimize manufacturing operations
Creating and maintaining discrete event simulation models and developing dashboards to track key performance indicators

Basic Qualifications
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, etc.)
Experience working with Simio Simulation Modeling or other discrete event simulation modeling
Demonstrated ability to work with and present to multiple levels of management
Experience working in SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Desired Skills
Experience in aerospace defense industry
Ability to develop automated data visuals/tools that support improvement processes
Tableau / SQL / Python / Data Analytics experience
Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
