$95,000.00 / yr - $115,000.00 / yr

Business Development Executive | Metric Geo | Water Resources Engineering Our client is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Atlanta, GA to support their growing stormwater and water resources engineering practice. This hands‑on, seller‑doer role combines technical project delivery with team leadership and client engagement.
Responsibilities
Lead design, drafting, and preparation of construction plans, contract documents, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates for stormwater projects, including open / closed drainage systems, canals, and flood control structures
Perform hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality analyses for stormwater collection systems
Design site‑specific BMPs to meet permitting and regulatory requirements, including conventional, low impact development, and stormwater volume control BMPs
Prepare permit applications, supporting documentation, FEMA CLOMR / LOMR applications, drainage reports, and exhibits
Develop 1D and 2D hydrologic / hydraulic models using HEC‑RAS, HEC‑HMS, ICPR, XPSWMM, ArcMap, and AutoCAD Civil 3D
Mentor junior engineers and support professional development
Ensure projects meet quality, budget, and schedule goals
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (ABET‑accredited)
6+ years of total engineering experience, including 5+ years in hydrology & hydraulics design and analysis
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain reciprocity in Georgia within six months
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrology / hydraulics modeling, ArcMap, and MS Office
Strong verbal, written, presentation, organizational, and team collaboration skills
