The Contra Costa Health Department is offering an excellent career opportunity to fill one (1) Senior Clinical Laboratory Scientist position located in the Clinical Laboratory at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC) in Martinez, CA. The position will serve as a lead scientist who will work Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, work one (1) weekend every 28 days, and work alternate holidays.

License Required: Must possess and maintain throughout the duration of employment a valid license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist issued by the California State Department of Public Health.

Experience: Two (2) years of full-time (or the equivalent of full-time) experience as a licensed scientist in a clinical laboratory performing varied clinical tests and analyses.

Hiring Process:
