Job Summary and Responsibilities The Registered Nurse manages quality patient care through the nursing process. Coordinates plan of care with the health care team, assumes a leadership role for unit personnel, and prepares and assists them with their responsibilities. Employees are responsible for completion of unit competency assessments, annual safety review, CPR, and renewal of license by maintaining continuing education units as required by hospital policy. Employees must successfully pass the clinical math exam prior to orientation to the unit. In addition to these major responsibilities, the Registered Nurse may be assigned other duties.

Job Requirements Minimum Requirements

One to three (1-3) years of critical care experience

Bachelor of Science RN

California Registered Nurse License (RG RN)

Current AHA CPR certification (CT CPR BLS) within 30 days of hire

Current AHA ACLS certification (CT ACLS) within 30 days of hire

Current AHA PALS certification (CT PALS) within 30 days of hire

Preferred Requirements

One (1) year of experience as an acute care nurse

Pay Range $48.43 - $72.26 /hour
