Base pay range

$130,000.00 / yr - $150,000.00 / yr

Create and execute project preplanning activities with subcontractors. Coordinate subcontractors, architects, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve any problems with materials or methods. Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and the adherence to construction schedules.

Our client is a well-established General Contractor in Kansas City, focusing on Commercial, Education, Multi‑family, and Healthcare projects. They are seeking a strong Senior Superintendent to lead some of their most prominent projects.

Description

Coordinate the work of all construction substrates with the main office.

Arrange, monitor, and attend agency inspections.

Read and understand architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and landscape drawings and specifications.

Review shop drawings and reports, prepare and monitor RFIs.

Prepare daily reports and progress photographs.

Proficiency with Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and handling PDF files.

Engage with design professionals, subcontractors, project managers, and officials to resolve issues.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site, enforcing safety standards.

Profile

15+ years experience in large‑scale commercial ground‑up construction (education experience a plus).

Deep understanding of the construction process.

Proficient in reviewing all construction documents.

Excellent communication skills with management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.

Self‑motivated and proactive.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Willing to handle multiple responsibilities to complete projects on time.

Job Offer

$130,000 - $155,000+ base salary, depending on experience.

$750-$1000 monthly car allowance.
