Senior Mechanical Production Engineer
A well-established international company is seeking a Senior Mechanical Production Engineer for their large manufacturing facility near Atlanta East. The role involves identifying and implementing improvements to production processes, methods, and controls. Responsibilities also include developing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes in line with product specifications and quality standards. The position entails coordinating the launch of new products and may offer bonuses, a competitive K, and other benefits.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Identify and address existing product and manufacturing process issues.
Develop and maintain quality systems for new and existing programs.
Conduct research, development, and evaluation of manufacturing systems and equipment.
Coordinate the launch of new products and evaluate outcomes.
Provide input on product design based on manufacturing principles.
Analyze cost-benefit of product and manufacturing process improvements.
Lead or participate in continuous improvement activities.
Create detailed layouts of building space, equipment, and tooling.
Train production and maintenance staff on technical skills.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
Proficient in reading, interpreting, and creating technical documents.
Skilled in 3D and 2D CAD software, particularly SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Hands-on experience with CNC machining and related processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of manufacturing metrics.
Experience with capital projects and quality standards.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office suite.
Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
Quick learner with knowledge of manufacturing processes and rules.
Authorization to work in the USA without sponsorship.
