Aero Production Engineering Central Services (PECS) organization is looking for a strong, self-motivated individual to join the Planning Central Services team as a Capability Development Planning Manufacturing Engineer (ME). This Capability Development Planning ME will be responsible for representing the ME Planning function on the Apriso Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Capability Development Teams. These Capability Development Teams are responsible for defining processes and functionality within the Apriso MES. Development of Planning capabilities within the new eco-systems is an integral part of the successful execution of Lockheed Martin’s Digital Transformation. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Considered An Emerging Technical Expert For The Apriso MES System And How The Planning Discipline Fits Into This System. He/she Will Serve as a representative of the ME Planning organization on the cross-functional Apriso Capability Development Teams Help define new processes, create standard systems engineering artifacts required for the capability development process, create job guides and training material, and test software configurations Use his/her experience with legacy PLM and MES applications to help determine how similar functionality will be accomplished in next generation systems for both current and future program needs Consult and participate in various activities to transform the business and execute next generation manufacturing.
