Job Description

Responsibilities The Kate Tiedemann School of Business and Finance offers a strong mix of collegiality, scholarship, and a friendly and welcoming environment. Faculty members are research-active, with recent publications in high-quality finance journals. An expanded Bloomberg and Wealth Management Center research lab supports research and teaching.
The Tampa Bay metropolitan region is home to over 4 million people and a growing number of corporate offices and headquarters, including Raymond James, TD Synnex, Citi, Foot Locker, Johnson & Johnson, Bristol-Meyers Squibb, Amgen, and Bloomin’ Brands. Ranked among the top outdoor living regions in the U.S., Tampa Bay includes beaches, museums, performing arts venues, and professional sports teams.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have a doctoral degree from an AACSB (or international equivalent) accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization, a demonstrated record of achievement in academic research, teaching, and service, and meet university criteria for appointment to the appropriate rank.
Preferences
Evidence of ability to publish in top-level finance journals. A candidate’s record should support credentialing at the SA (scholar academic) classification under AACSB guidelines.
Evidence of collaboration in previous academic or professional endeavors.
Evidence of ability to make service contributions to the university and the profession.
Overall quality of the candidate as indicated by letters of reference and personal contacts.
