Tempus Veterinary Recruitment has partnered with iHire to reach top talent for an Equine/Mixed Practice Associate Veterinarian position at a full-service veterinary hospital in Agua Dulce, California.
Working Hours / Rota The hospital is open Monday through Saturday, offering full range of veterinary services. Large animal practice operates as an ambulatory service with emergency services and 24-hour coverage for large animals.
Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will deliver high-quality care across equine, small ruminant and small animal patients.
Preventive care, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, lameness evaluations, and urgent care.
Equine-specific services including wellness, pre-purchase and insurance exams, foot and leg care, parasite control, dentistry, eye care, internal medicine, surgery, IRAP therapy, ultrasound-guided injections.
Work in both clinic and ambulatory capacity with access to advanced mobile diagnostic tools.
Practice Details The hospital provides a wide range of services: preventive, internal medicine, dentistry, cold laser therapy, surgery, equine wellness, lameness care, advanced therapies such as IRAP. Equine care is supported by two mobile units offering digital radiography, ultrasonography, fiber optiscope evaluations.
Team The practice currently has 3 DVMs working within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Candidate Requirements
Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States.
Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain a state license for the state they are applying to work in.
Must have the right to work in the United States or be able to obtain required visa.
Compensation & Benefits Salary up to $150,000 annually.
$100k - $150k Base Salary + Production
