Torani is looking for a strategic sales manager who creatively delivers business growth this year and establishes foundations for long‑term success. The right candidate thrives in field‑based engagement, supports distributor sales teams, and leverages market and trend data to foster sustainable growth. This role drives sales across the region by collaborating with distributor partners and operator customers to achieve goals.

Your ability to build business with distributors and operators is the critical backbone of your regional strategy. You identify barriers to entry and create tactics to overcome them, execute go‑to‑market strategies that uncover new opportunities, and embody Torani values to bring the brand to life for customers.

Success Factors (First 12–18 Months)

Foodservice Growth Driver: You have established relationships with our distributor network, filled business voids, and drive growth in new products and accounts, working with your Zone Manager to meet the Foodservice Division Strategy and achieve double‑digit sales growth.

Regional Expert: You keep the pulse of the region, understand market numbers and competitors, build a sales pipeline, and create new opportunities through our strategic selling process. You prospect regional chain accounts and new distributor partners, engage influencers, and provide accurate monthly forecasting for inventory supply.

Value Creator for Operators & Distributors: As a Food & Beverage industry expert you communicate Torani’s value propositions, execute plans to unseat competition in cafes and chains, build strong relationships with distributor teams, and support their priorities through shared business goals. Joint sales calls and ride‑along calls are key to success, and you become the strategic partner inspiring growth across all foodservice channels.

Distributor Network Architect: You reach underserved markets and partner with leaders, ensuring customers have access to the product they want, when they want it. Your network supports our flagship Flavor Factory in the Bay Area and helps create a thriving café and operator community.

Collaboration Ninja: You collaborate across Torani and with external partners, identify new ideas and best practices, and contribute meaningfully to the S&OP process, bringing insights to operators and driving growth.

Culture Ambassador: You bring energy, optimism, and a sense of shared purpose to the team, celebrate progress, lift others, and remind people why this work matters.

Physical & Schedule Requirements

At least 5 years of experience working as a remote sales team member.

At least 5 years of experience in the food & beverage industry.

Experience growing relationships with foodservice operators and regional chain accounts.

Experience training distributor representatives and leading product education workshops.

Proficient in contact‑management databases, preferably Salesforce.

Experience working with a large ERP system (e.g., Oracle, SAP).

Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Remote: Either the Phoenix or Denver metropolitan markets within 1 hour of a major airport.

Willingness to travel overnight for a minimum of 50% of the time, including key trade shows such as SCAA, Coffee Fest, etc.

Salary & Bonus Salary Range: $97,000 – $118,000

Bonus: Competitive quarterly sales bonus and an annual company bonus.
