Summary
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. Responsibilities
Prepare CT equipment for daily operation and perform required QC procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of assigned work area and restock supplies.
Report all supply shortages and equipment failures to supervisor.
Evaluate relevant lab and test results according to DIS protocols.
Provide patient and family education on CT imaging procedures.
Perform IV insertion and practice sterile technique to prevent contamination.
Prepare and administer IV contrast material, monitoring for reactions.
Adhere to dose reduction protocols established by radiologists and the Radiation Safety Committee.
Perform on‑call duties as assigned.
Conduct portable radiography for ER, OR, recovery, inpatient, and other required areas.
Ensure quality and quantity of radiographic exams, minimizing patient radiation dose.
Practice radiation safety and wear dosimeter as per policy.
Participate in quality assurance activities as directed.
Document all fluoroscopy doses post‑procedure.
Perform additional duties as determined by supervisor.
Work Schedule
Full‑time, 40 hours, Monday‑Friday evenings, rotating weekends and holidays.

Reach overhead for X‑ray tube manipulation.
Qualifications
United States citizenship.
Certification in general radiologic technology by ARRT; advanced ARRT certification required for CT.
Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent 24‑month training in diagnostic radiologic technology, accredited by JRCERT or DOE-recognized body.
English language proficiency as required by VA policy.
Preferred experience: 3+ years CT.
