Description Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation control systems for custom machinery and large-scale integration projects.

Program, configure, and debug PLCs, HMIs, motion control systems, robotics, and other automation technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, and software) to deliver high-performance, turnkey solutions.

Provide technical leadership during the full project lifecycle, from concept development through on-site commissioning and customer acceptance.

Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices while driving continuous improvement in controls architecture and design.

Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing expertise in troubleshooting, system optimization, and advanced programming techniques.

Support customer interactions, including design reviews, FATs, SATs, and on-site system launches.

Minimum Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

7+ years of experience in automation and control system design, preferably in custom equipment or complex system integration.

Proven expertise with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation PLCs, HMIs, motion control, and industrial networks (EtherNet / IP, ProfiNet, etc.).

Strong understanding of safety systems, risk assessments, and compliance with international standards.

Hands-on experience commissioning equipment at customer sites, with a willingness to travel as required.

Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
