Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) The Acquisition Program Manager will support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center customer at WPAFB, OH. The customer Program Office provides planning and acquisition of cost-effective, long‑term critical U.S. Air Force capabilities in an Integrated Product Team structure. Working with the customer, the candidate will also interface with major defense contractors who supply critical defense capabilities. Some travel is expected. Up to 20%. Responsibilities

Program planning and execution: works with Development and Production PMs for program execution, tracks requirements, builds RFP packages, builds Acquisition Strategy documentation. Stakeholder management: POCs, offices, interactions, scheduling, meeting minutes. Financial and contract monitoring & evaluation: spend plans, vendor review, schedule analysis, contract award schedules, finance coordination. Risk management: risk mapping, tracking, mitigation, weekly risk review meeting. Business process owner: process analysis and optimization, change management, program interface to Division Director’s Action Group. Required Qualifications

10 years of acquisition experience. Experience with DoD acquisition programs, contracting, J&A, acquisition strategy plan, CDRLs, etc. Experience on classified and/or special‑access programs. Self‑starter, thrives in a dynamic environment, independent high‑level tasks, strong problem‑definition and teamwork. Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence and/or Jira. Strong interpersonal skills, capable of developing briefings and reports for senior DAFL and OSD leadership. Extensive acquisition and contract management experience, monitoring program execution, integration of complex programs and systems. Knowledge of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center framework, directives, and policies. Experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project for financial and schedule analysis. Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business (if business, at least 8 years of experience on DoD contracts/programs with heavy engineering focus). Master’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or related military studies (Desired). Project management certifications (e.g., DAU, PMP, Agile, or similar) (Desired). Clearance Requirements

Active Top‑Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility. Benefits
