We follow Architecture Governance, Security Architecture, Technology Risk & Controls, Risk Assessment and Technology on-boarding processes within the region. How You Will Create Impact

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join our Global architecture team. Reporting to the Head of North America Solution Architecture, the Senior Solution Architect will play a crucial role in driving system architecture toward an end-state vision that modernizes, transforms and simplifies the General Insurance Underwriting systems landscape. Responsibilities

Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand requirements and align solutions with business goals Develops solution architectures for complex systems, ensuring consistency with IT target architecture and business requirements Understands the current North America underwriting landscape problems and business priorities to facilitate a holistic roadmap Communicates architecture objectives to business and IT stakeholders and consults during requirements development; provides oversight throughout design implementations into the productive solution Ensures the solution meets functional, non-functional and regulatory requirements, especially in the insurance domain Designs the overall architecture including system, components, application, data and infrastructure to align with enterprise standards Presents technology solutions to Business Partners that align with business requirements Addresses cross-domain challenges, ensuring components work together as a cohesive system Core Responsibilities Include

Focuses heavily on designing solutions to demonstrate how technology supports business outcomes and works closely with non-technical teams. Bridges the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. Utilizes knowledge across multiple technology domains such as software, infrastructure, integration and security, and collaborates with horizontal technical/application and platform architects. What You'll Need To Succeed

8+ years of experience as a solution architect, delivering solutions for large and complex projects. Experience with insurance platforms including COTS products such as Duck Creek and Guidewire is a significant advantage. Strong knowledge of IT architecture principles, enterprise frameworks, and various technology platforms, with the ability to develop architecture strategies using reference architectures, domain architecture patterns and technology frameworks. Understanding of the insurance industry, particularly Property & Casualty, and hands-on experience architecting, solutioning and tuning insurance platforms. Ability to translate business requirements into technology solution specifications and create blueprints for development and integration teams to follow. Experience in designing cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure) and implementing IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and hybrid models. Knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, principles and best practices and emerging technology in insurance. Experience with MuleSoft, AWS integration patterns, Spring Boot, Java, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Angular, and AI/ML solutions. Technical certifications such as TOGAF and AWS Solution Architect are highly valued.
