The Automation Implementation Applications Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for leading the national level automation applications team to ensure accuracy, on-time completion, and successful customer adoption of the Beckman Coulter Automation Systems. This role collaborates with field service, sales, product development, and tech support to achieve action-oriented product growth and ongoing customer satisfaction during complex system implementations. Responsibilities
Provide technical and leadership skills development of direct reports, advancing quality and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and standards. Lead daily management activities to track, report, and maintain implementation timelines and objectives to support high-quality execution of implementation processes that create reference level customers to drive product and revenue growth. Track and trend team KPIs, developing and deploying countermeasures to drive continuous improvement. Conduct periodic individual and team meetings to foster direct report engagement, alignment, and ongoing associate development. Perform annual and mid-year associate performance reviews as per established processes. Work collaboratively within the National leadership team to prioritize and deliver results on wider team objectives, initiatives, and deliverables. Essential Requirements
Minimum combined experience of 9+ years in diagnostic laboratory field service with a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Medical Technology. Demonstrated project team leadership and/or supervisory experience. Diagnostics Laboratory Automation and/or Informatics Applications experience. Travel & Physical/Environment Requirements
Ability to travel 50% of the time, including overnight travel (as applicable for role). Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Nice to Have
Understanding of DBS fundamentals with demonstrated ability in use of Daily Management and PSP tools. Experience leading, influencing, and collaborating across customer accounts and business functions. Financial acumen and experience in understanding business financials. Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range for this role is $120,000 - $145,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
