Overview
Senior Field Applications Specialist (FAS) at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics. Remote support for a territory based in the Richmond, VA area and the East Coast. Reports to the Technical Applications Supervisor and is part of the Field Applications team. Responsibilities
Ensure the customer is prepared for validation and meets milestones for the established implementation timeline; assess customer operator performance and knowledge; provide onsite and remote support for assay and QC questions and provide onsite training for proper operation of instrumentation. Complete validation studies on instrumentation including instrument setup, calibration, precision studies, and method comparisons. Drive revenue growth by identifying assay growth opportunities while working with customers. Essential Requirements
Associate’s degree with a minimum of 3+ years in a laboratory/diagnostic instrumentation or related field. Advanced knowledge of Diagnostics or Healthcare Industry with emphasis on the Laboratory Regulatory environment. Travel, Driver and Physical/Environment Requirements
Willingness to work remotely and to travel domestically up to 90% within the territory (Northeast) and overnight as needed. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50 lb and other physical requirements. Preferred Experience
Medical technology experience. Standard Laboratory Practices, including Quality Control, record keeping, and regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, COLA). Residency
Residency within Richmond, VA or ability to relocate is required. Compensation and Benefits
