Sr. Director of Headhunting Services at Movement Search & Delivery Controller / Director of Accounting
We’re seeking a senior‑level financial leader with strong experience in
government contracting (Deltek Costpoint preferred)
and/or
non‑profit accounting . This role oversees all
Accounting and Financial Reporting
functions, ensuring the integrity of financial information and supporting executive decision‑making through accurate analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Payroll, Project Setup, and Financial Reporting.
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with
FAR, CAS, and GAAP .
Manage and reconcile the general ledger; ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
Design, implement, and monitor internal controls to maintain compliance and efficiency.
Prepare and analyze monthly departmental financial statements (budget vs. actual).
Oversee bank reconciliations, cash activity, and adjusting journal entries.
Maintain fixed asset schedules and record depreciation and amortization.
Review and record entries for payroll, benefits accruals, leases, and other key accounts.
Coordinate annual audits and tax filings; serve as primary liaison with external auditors.
Prepare schedules, financial statements, and supporting documentation for audits and returns (990, 1120).
Support the CFO and Executive Leadership Team with analysis, insights, and special projects.
Qualifications
CPA license
or demonstrated equivalent competency.
Significant experience in
government contracting and/or non‑profit financial management .
In-depth knowledge of
FAR, DFARS, DCAA regulations, and GAAP .
Proven ability to conduct technical research, interpret complex accounting provisions, and present findings to leadership.
Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance, and financial reporting best practices.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of
10 years of progressive accounting experience , including
5 years in management .
Experience with
Deltek Costpoint
strongly preferred.
Additional Information
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Remote work within the continental U.S. is permitted, with occasional on‑site collaboration as needed.
Must be able to work during
Eastern Time
hours.
