Responsibilities
Overseeing and managing all aspects of grant accounting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations and standards.
Utilizing NetSuite to maintain financial records, track transactions, and generate comprehensive financial reports.
Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing insights on financial performance and trends.
Managing the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
Working closely with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
Identifying opportunities for process improvements to optimize financial operations and reporting.
Collaborating with other finance team members and departments to achieve organizational financial objectives.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience. Healthcare industry is nice to have.
Extensive experience with grant accounting, GAAP, and financial statement preparation.
Proficiency in using NetSuite or QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
Strong understanding of the month-end close process.
