What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Serve as Project Manager, leading technical projects, budgets, and client communications
Identify new business opportunities, prepare proposals and cost estimates, and develop project approaches
Manage and oversee preparation of land‑use and resource permit applications for federal, state, and local agencies
Support and lead siting, permitting, and environmental review for renewable energy projects
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards throughout project execution
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Geology, or a related field
7‑15 years of experience managing and supporting CEQA projects, including preparation of IS/MNDs, EIRs, or related CEQA documentation
Proven experience with California permitting processes involving various state agencies
Excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills
Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Master's degree in a related discipline
Experience managing complex, multi‑disciplinary projects in California
Experience with energy development clients and large‑scale renewable projects
Familiarity with the NEPA process
