About the Role Marketing Strategy and Insights is a team of analysts within the Marketing Operations organization at Confluent. This team serves as internal analytical consultants to all parts of the Marketing organization, focusing on delivering targeted insights into key components of the marketing engine including website conversion analytics, digital and in‑person marketing campaign performance, marketing pipeline attribution and ROI, Product‑Led Growth analytics, lead scoring, lead management, and more.

What You Will Do

Focus on website, paid media, and email analytics.

Work closely with colleagues across Confluent including Web, Paid Media, Email, Marketing Operations, Data Science, Field Marketing, Finance, and more to drive the execution of strategic or tactical recommendations.

Apply your analytical and strategic skillset to help optimize the effectiveness of Confluent’s website and digital channels as conversion engines for our business, focusing on performance reports, dashboards, and optimization; experimentation analyses and consultation; web event and digital channel tracking and reporting data; web, paid, and email forecasting; and exploratory analyses, working with Data Science on classification or predictive models.

Be proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement within your area of ownership, scope and prioritize projects, and spearhead the execution of analytically‑driven recommendations in support of key business objectives.

Analyze digital channel impacts on KPIs like pipeline generation, customer acquisition, product‑led growth, and consumption growth to recommend optimization strategies.

Support email marketing performance data analysis.

Evaluate GEO/SEO performance across priority queries and surfaces, providing data‑driven recommendations to optimize visibility and conversion.

Connect channel analytics to the full customer journey, enabling visibility into multi‑touch attribution, funnel progression, and TAL penetration.

Partner with Finance to build CAC/LTV models, ensuring paid and digital investments are tied to business outcomes.

Ensure data governance and accuracy across web event tracking, UTM structures, and reporting pipelines in partnership with Data Science.

What You Will Bring

5+ years of experience in an analytics role supporting a B2B go‑to‑market organization.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a quantitative field such as Analytics, Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering.

2+ years of experience in SQL querying.

2+ years of experience analyzing website visitor and interaction data.

Experience with modern website, marketing, and data technology stacks such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Segment, Marketo, BigQuery.

Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.

Highly proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.

Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software.

Strong business judgment and decision‑making ability.

Strong communication skills, including written and oral communication and influencing skills.

Clear results orientation: ability to scope and execute projects in service of both short and long‑term goals.

Ability to own and execute an agenda in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
