Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in CNC programming and machining, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our shop team. This is an hourly position, and all overtime will be compensated.

Responsibilities

Create and develop documentation for new and existing products based on engineering drawings.

Read and interpret blueprints and technical data to determine tooling requirements, control settings, machining methods, and operational sequences.

Design, create, and implement CNC programs to improve tooling, machine processes, tool platforms, and fixturing.

Develop sustainable, standardized machining processes to exceed company goals for cost, quality, and delivery.

Collaborate with the shop floor to ensure programs produce high‑quality parts; monitor first articles, assist with setups and tooling, and troubleshoot issues.

Research new machining methodologies and tooling to enhance processes.

Develop machining practices that increase safety, reduce setup time, and minimize non‑conformances.

Create G‑Code programs using GibbsCAM and NX CAM software for efficient manufacturing.

Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processing orders to meet client expectations in safety, delivery, and quality.

Maintain a safe work environment and comply with company policies.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts.

Proficient in GibbsCAM, SolidWorks, and working with G & M Codes.

Experience with CNC lathes, live tooling lathes, and 4‑axis mills with Fanuc or Mitsubishi controls.

Proficiency in NX CAM software.

Expertise in CAD/CAM software and machine template generation.

Ability to read and interpret engineering prints, including GD&T.

Skilled in adjusting speeds, feeds, tooling, and analyzing M & G code programs.

Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements

High School Diploma + 5 years of relevant experience OR

Engineering/Technical Degree + 1 year of relevant experience
