Job Summary Information Technology Services (ITS) at the MCCCD is seeking a PeopleSoft ERP Security Administrator to play a pivotal role in safeguarding and shaping the technology that supports one of the largest community college systems in the nation. This position will support and harden security for the PeopleSoft suite, Human Capital Management (HCM), Campus Solutions (SIS), and Financial Management System (FMS), as well as drive integrations with a modern Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform, SailPoint. Collaborating with PeopleSoft security professionals and a forward-thinking IAM team, this role will ensure secure, seamless, and innovative access to critical systems used by students, faculty, and staff.

Essential Functions

25% Administers security module and application access management needs; creates roles and permissions to ensure secure and authorized system access across all PeopleSoft environments (production and development) and assigned Enterprise Resource Planning applications; provides excellent user support and customer service; provides backup support to senior administrators.

25% Analyzes, coordinates, and implements moderately complex requirement documents and prepares technical specifications / documentation for upgrades, conversions, and/or transition projects and activities for PeopleSoft Security and assigned Enterprise Resource Planning applications.

25% Provides functional and technical support and participates in development of security strategy, architecture, and policies; makes independent decisions and exercises judgment related to PeopleSoft Security and assigned Enterprise Resource Planning applications using established guidelines and procedures.

15% Supports the implementation of the IAM solution for automated lifecycle management, streamlined workflows, and monitoring systems and processes.

5% Creates and maintains system documentation for security design, development, security and maintenance; educates and trains staff and users on PeopleSoft Security and assigned Enterprise Resource Planning applications.

5% Participates in centralized Enterprise Resource Planning application governance and support modules and core governance committees; performs related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in information technology, information security, computer science, cybersecurity, network security, or a related field and two (2) years of technical experience in the support of network systems, telecommunications and/or technology security.

OR

An equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or certifications sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with security administration on PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, FSCM, and/or HCM.

Experience writing security requirement documentation.

Experience providing customer support and service via a help desk ticketing system.

Experience with IAM solutions such as Sailpoint or Okta.

Special Working Conditions

Mandatory minimum in-office expectation, currently two days onsite, in which the District reserves the right to update at any time.

Candidate must reside in the Phoenix area or relocate within six months of hire.

May involve after hours work and non-regular business hours.

May require prolonged sitting; working at a computer monitor.

May require presenting in large meetings and sponsored events.

ITS does not sponsor individuals for any type of work visas.
