Overview Of The Role

Position Overview The GenAI Integration Architect will serve as the technical leader for GenAI adoption across all CISO domains, responsible for designing and overseeing the integration of GenAI capabilities into existing cybersecurity workflows, tools, and processes. This role bridges the gap between GenAI product development and enterprise‑scale deployment, ensuring that GenAI tools deliver measurable business value while maintaining security, compliance, and operational excellence. It is a high‑impact role reporting to the Head of GenAI & Emerging Technology Security, working closely with CISO domain leaders, product teams, and technology partners to accelerate the organization’s GenAI transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Technical Leadership (40%)
Design enterprise integration architecture for GenAI products across all CISO domains
Define technical integration standards, patterns, and best practices for GenAI adoption
Provide strategic technical guidance to domain leaders on GenAI implementation approaches
Lead architectural reviews and technology selection for GenAI enablement initiatives
Develop long‑term technical roadmap for GenAI integration across the CISO organization
Integration Design & Implementation (30%)
Design integration solutions between GenAI tools and existing CISO systems (SOC platforms, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, compliance tools)
Lead resolution of complex technical integration challenges and architectural decisions
Define data integration patterns and API strategies for GenAI tool adoption
Ensure solutions meet enterprise security, compliance, and governance requirements
Partner with Cybersecurity Technology and Platform Operations teams on technical implementations
Enablement & Technical Leadership (20%)
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to GenAI Enablement Engineers and domain‑embedded specialists
Establish technical enablement frameworks and methodologies for CISO‑wide adoption
Build technical capabilities within embedded domain teams through coaching and knowledge transfer
Define success criteria and technical performance metrics for enablement initiatives
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure solutions meet adoption needs
Cross‑Domain Collaboration (10%)
Partner with CISO domain leaders (Cybersecurity Operations, BFT CISO, Governance, Engineering & Architecture, etc.) to understand integration requirements
Collaborate with GenAI Architecture & Advisory team on security and governance frameworks
Work with GenAI Products team to inform roadmap with integration feedback
Engage with enterprise technology partners and vendors on integration capabilities
Represent CISO in enterprise AI/ML technical forums and working groups
Required Qualifications
Technical Expertise
7‑10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, system integration, or technical leadership roles
Strong understanding of API architectures, microservices, data integration patterns, and cloud platforms
Experience designing and implementing enterprise‑scale integrations across complex technology landscapes
Knowledge of security tools and platforms (SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, etc.)
Hands‑on experience with GenAI technologies and frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude API, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or similar)
Understanding of LLM concepts: prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation), embeddings, vector databases, agent frameworks
Proficiency in modern development practices, CI/CD, and automation frameworks
Leadership & Business Skills
Proven track record of leading technical teams and driving enterprise‑wide technology adoption
Executive communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders
Strong stakeholder management across multiple organizational domains and levels
Experience driving change management and adoption of new technologies at scale
Strategic thinking with ability to balance innovation with operational pragmatism
Financial Services & Domain Knowledge
Understanding of financial services regulatory and compliance requirements
Experience working in highly regulated environments with strong governance and risk management
Knowledge of cybersecurity operations, processes, and workflows
Familiarity with CISO organizational structures and security domain functions
Track record of delivering measurable business value and efficiency gains
Preferred Qualifications
GenAI frameworks experience: LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar orchestration frameworks
Vector database experience: pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS, or similar for RAG implementations
LLM API integration: OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI
Agent frameworks: AutoGen, CrewAI, LangGraph, or custom agentic workflows
Background in cybersecurity engineering, security architecture, or SOC operations
Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security tooling
Certifications: CISSP, TOGAF, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent
Previous experience in technical enablement, platform engineering, or developer advocacy roles
