is hiring a permanent Project Manager / Engineer to join our team in Seymour, IN.
North American Construction Services (HQ: Birmingham, AL) is a dynamic subsidiary of Fives North American Combustion (HQ: Cleveland) and the renowned Fives Group (HQ: Paris). With over five decades of pioneering contributions, we execute innovative engineering, fabrication, and construction in the field of industrial thermal processes.
From designing and constructing furnaces to providing retrofits and upgrades, full‑life‑cycle service and maintenance on vessels, ovens, launders, and other industrial equipment, we offer fully‑integrated turnkey solutions.
Responsibilities
Assigning quotes, setting up project folders, estimating, generating proposals, JSAs, project books for field services.
Supporting external and internal sales opportunities.
Working and building relationships with preferred vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Develop project schedules and plans.
Maintain project files and documentation.
Manage supply/rental of equipment required for executing customer site work with onsite deliveries and timely returns/call offs.
Review project cost against initial budgets, manage change orders, identify issues such as resources, schedule, scope, and generate billings.
Generate BOMs for procurement of materials and equipment.
Conduct onsite evaluations of opportunities.
Qualifications
Ability to travel up to 70% with potential additional travel.
Understanding of reading drawings and developing BOMs for costing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, CAD, and project management.
Strong leadership skills with ability to lead and manage, self‑managed and goal‑oriented.
Experience developing meaningful goals to provide functional area improvements.
5 years experience in a related field, or combination of training and experience providing required skills.
Knowledge of industrial processes and proficiency in sales methodologies preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
