Key Responsibilities & Duties
Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations.
Adjust client books and records to ensure accuracy and readiness for tax filings.
Utilize QuickBooks and Lacerte software for efficient tax preparation and accounting services.
Conduct multi-state tax filings and manage intricate K-1s for diverse client portfolios.
Collaborate with partners and team members to deliver high-quality tax solutions.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex tax issues and regulations.
Engage with clients across various industries, including real estate, manufacturing, and entertainment.
Support the firm's succession planning by managing and expanding client relationships.
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting or related field is required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in taxation and accounting; 5 years preferred.
Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential; experience with Lacerte software is advantageous.
CPA certification or parts thereof is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong technical skills in preparing complex tax returns and multi-state filings.
Ability to manage diverse client portfolios, including high-net-worth individuals and corporations.
Experience in adjusting client books and records for tax preparation.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
