The platform simplifies financial operations for mission-driven organizations helping them collect payments, manage funds securely, ensure transparency, and stay compliant with IRS regulations in one place.
Due to growth, our client is excited to add a CMO ( Chief Marketing Officer ) to lead their marketing organization and drive brand awareness, demand generation, and customer acquisition in a high-growth FinTech environment. Reporting directly to the CEO, this person will be responsible for building and executing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy focused on enterprise and mid-market acquisition through account-based marketing (ABM).
Responsibilities:
Define and execute the overall marketing strategy to drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth in a high-growth FinTech environment.
Build and scale an account-based marketing (ABM) program targeting enterprise and mid-market nonprofit clients.
Lead multi-channel demand generation campaigns (digital, content, email, events) to accelerate qualified pipeline growth.
Collaborate closely with SDR and sales leadership to ensure alignment between outbound strategy and marketing execution.
Develop and execute strategic partnership marketing initiatives to expand market reach and integration opportunities.
Own product marketing messaging, including translating complex fintech solutions into clear, compelling value propositions for nonprofit leaders.
Set, track, and optimize key marketing metrics, including pipeline contribution, CAC, and ROI.
Recruit, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team across ABM, demand generation, and product marketing.
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to ensure cohesive go-to-market execution and maximize impact.
Requirements:
10+ years of marketing leadership experience in FinTech or payments; experience within nonprofit or mission-driven sectors is a plus.
Proven success leading account-based marketing and demand generation programs that drive enterprise and mid-market pipeline growth.
Experience working closely with or managing SDR/outbound teams to align marketing and sales execution.
Background in partnership or ecosystem marketing, including co-marketing and integration campaigns.
Excellent storytelling and communication skills — able to translate complex fintech concepts into clear, compelling messages.
Analytical mindset with experience managing metrics such as CAC, pipeline velocity, and ROI.
Demonstrated ability to lead in high-growth, fast-moving environments.
