About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer for its Optum Insight and Optum Financial divisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering client product marketing, sales enablement, and integrated marketing campaigns to support client acquisition and retention. This role involves leading the development of marketing strategies that drive profitable growth, managing the marketing mix, and overseeing the execution of business and product-specific marketing campaigns. The Chief Marketing Officer will also be tasked with driving patient and member engagement, brand transitions, and creating national marketing platforms.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a Master's degree in marketing or business administration, and at least 15 years of broad-based marketing experience, including 10 years in team leadership. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in marketing within a large, matrix organization, and the ability to think both strategically and conceptually. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare or financial services marketing, be adept at managing large, complex budgets, and have a strong focus on innovation and achieving concrete measurement standards for marketing activities. The Chief Marketing Officer will be expected to be an effective communicator, with solid collaboration and teamwork skills, and the ability to influence and lead through change in a fast-paced environment.
