LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients to fill a Senior Accountant position at the corporate office located in San Jose, CA.
This position is 100% in-office! The ideal candidate will have experience working within a non‑profit organization and have 5 years of senior level accounting experience.
Responsibilities
Processing bank reconciliations
Preparing journal entries
Accounts payable
Accounts receivable
Allocations
Grant accounting and tracking
Sales tax return preparation
Assist with other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications
Strong general accounting experience (GL, AP, AR)
Solid knowledge of general accounting with debits and credits (reconciliations & journal entries)
Industry experience within non‑profit (required)
Software experience with a medium to large ERP (preferred)
Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
Solid communication skills (written & verbal)
Team player, helpful, willing and quick to learn
Reliable, dedicated, and a thoughtful decision maker
Detail oriented, problem‑solver, organized
5 years of experience as a senior accounting professional (Senior Accountant)
Employment Type Temporary
Pay $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
