Project Manager IV

for our growing

Miami, FL Building + Places

team to work on interesting and challenging projects for a variety of clients. We are seeking energetic and qualified candidates to help us grow our team and provide experienced leadership to manage our projects and teams. We have exciting opportunities for significant Mixed-Use Developments, Public Safety and Transit projects. Applicants would ideally have had exposure to Hospitality, Retail and Housing projects.

The responsibilities of an AECOM Project Manager include multi-discipline team management, scope and budget management, proposals and contracts, and client interface for our projects and pursuits. Candidates should have demonstrated use of industry project tools and resources to effectively manage projects and clients. The Project Manager role is an experienced level role that provides industry learned experience to lead and mentor, while being responsible for the effective management of assigned projects. This position is hybrid.

Job Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following:

Effectively manage staff, projects, and workflow with In-depth understanding of project design phases, objectives, deliverables.

Manage design development and achieving accurate and timely milestones.

Responsible for establishing workplans, schedules, budgets, and to track and manage through project life.

Responsible for financial performance and procedures, ensuring projects are managed to standards and expectations.

Manage multiple projects as assigned that may require regionally based staff in multiple locations, to ensure effective project delivery.

Collaborate with Project Architect, Principal, and other team members as required, while effectively managing the project.

Manage and interface with Clients and Contractual subject matter.

Responsible for delivering quality design and client satisfaction.

Build relationships and trust with clients and team members.

Key point of contact and communicator.

Reviews external communications for quality and accuracy.

Ensures presentations and submissions are accurate and in order with scope/contract.

Guide production and quality of design documents, including QA/QC procedures and standards.

Lead meetings and presentations – ensuring proper material is prepared for purpose.

Provide leadership to team, as well as solving project and/or technical issues through experienced guidance/leadership.

Mentor staff, contribute to office culture, and be part of building a collaborative and creative team.

Work with software platforms including Office, Bluebeam.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + 6 years of relevant architectural experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Must have experience in AutoCAD 2010 (or higher version).

Must have experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project.

Preferred Qualifications

Licensed Architect preferred.

8+ years of experience managing projects, staff, clientele.

Experience with and managing large-scale projects.

Previous experience with software platforms including Office, Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe, Projects and/or similar.

Revit experience preferred.

Demonstrated leadership in client facing roles and negotiations.

Demonstrated experience in preparing contract terms, scope of work, fees, and proposals.

Architectural project management experience in federal, civic/municipal, higher education, and/or transit/aviation experience.

Experience working in large and complex projects/programs.

Experience with government agencies/projects.

Strong background managing complex client development programs.

Well organized and adept at multi-tasking working with master agreements and multiple task orders.

Ability to manage and or direct project staff.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent technical and relationship building skills

Strong knowledge of American Disabilities Act/American Barriers Act.

Management experience on BIM projects highly desirable.

Understanding of pre-development efforts.

Management experience with P3, Design Build and other Alternative Delivery projects.

Compensation $120,000-$120,000 per year
