Overview Our client, a premier global brand management and private equity firm headquartered in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a Senior Vice President of Technology to lead all aspects of the organization’s technology function, spanning infrastructure, enterprise systems, digital platforms, and cybersecurity.
This is a highly strategic and hands‑on leadership role responsible for defining and executing the firm’s technology roadmap, supporting large‑scale growth through acquisitions, and ensuring the security and scalability of enterprise systems across global operations. The SVP will partner closely with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with the firm’s broader business objectives and brand portfolio strategy.
Core Responsibilities
Develop and execute a long‑term technology strategy aligned with business priorities, operational efficiency, and global expansion.
Oversee enterprise systems, core IT infrastructure, networking, and cloud environments, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.
Lead the internal IT support function, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and proactive technology enablement for corporate and portfolio brand teams.
Oversee the architecture, maintenance, and optimization of all digital and web properties across the firm’s portfolio, collaborating with brand and marketing teams to enhance user experience, scalability, and cybersecurity.
Establish and enforce a comprehensive information security framework that protects corporate and brand‑level systems, data, and networks.
Drive all technology‑related aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, infrastructure evaluation, and post‑acquisition integration.
Advance enterprise data architecture and reporting capabilities to enable actionable insights and informed decision‑making across the business.
Manage strategic partnerships and third‑party technology vendors to ensure cost efficiency, service quality, and alignment with firm objectives.
Partner closely with senior leadership to align technology initiatives with strategic goals and operational priorities.
Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing technology organization focused on innovation, service excellence, and operational discipline.
Qualifications
10‑15+ years of progressive IT experience, including executive‑level oversight of infrastructure, cloud systems, and cybersecurity.
Demonstrated success leading technology strategy and transformation in a private equity, brand management, retail, or consumer‑focused environment.
Experience managing technology due diligence and integrations for mergers and acquisitions.
Strong understanding of web architecture, e‑commerce platforms, cloud environments, and digital infrastructure.
Deep expertise in cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance frameworks.
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
