Senior Architect – Data Management & Security Operations

Engineer Secure Data Architecture: Design scalable pipelines and system architecture connecting ERP, SIS, Microsoft Fabric, and reporting platforms. Lock Down Access: Implement role-based access, audit logging, and encryption to protect critical data. Integrate & Govern: Develop integration patterns and security frameworks for SIS, ERP, Power BI, and cloud platforms. Standardize & Catalog: Define metadata standards and automate data cataloging and classification. Ensure Compliance: Partner with IT, Legal, and Security to implement FERPA- and HIPAA-compliant controls. Drive Governance: Define data lineage and governance structures for key datasets and pipelines. Mentor & Lead: Provide technical guidance to architects and engineers on access and data management. Evaluate & Evolve: Assess and recommend security and governance technologies to keep systems cutting-edge. What You Bring
Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred). Experience: 6 years in enterprise data architecture, integration, or identity/access management. K-12 data systems experience a plus. Technical Chops: Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power BI, and cloud data security expertise. Knowledge of SSO, SAML, SCIM, RBAC, and encryption protocols. Familiarity with ERP and SIS data models and compliance frameworks (FERPA, HIPAA). Strong grasp of data interoperability standards (IMS OneRoster, Ed-Fi). Proven track record designing secure, high-performance data pipelines.
