Base pay range We are seeking
Lead Night Shift Safety Managers
to support a large-scale construction project in Atlanta, GA. These positions are contract‑to‑hire, with the potential to transition into permanent employment based on performance and project needs.
OSHA 510 and OSHA 500 certifications are required.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee
night shift
safety operations on an active construction site.
Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company safety policies, and local regulations.
Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, documenting findings and corrective actions.
Lead and facilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for employees and subcontractors.
Investigate incidents and near-misses, preparing reports and implementing preventative measures.
Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and trade partners to maintain a strong safety culture.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety programs and compliance.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in safety management within construction or industrial environments.
Must have OSHA 510 and OSHA 500 certifications.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and general industry/construction safety standards.
Knowledge of State and Local Codes, CFR 29, 1926, & NFPA 70E.
Ability to conduct incident investigations and determine root causes.
Proficient with computers, phones, and other office equipment.
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Construction Management, or related field (preferred, not required).
Additional certifications such as CSP or CHST are a plus.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams in a fast‑paced environment.
