Lead Electrical Engineer at Micron: provide Engineering solutions for Facilities systems in Semiconductor Production and Greenfield FAB Construction Projects.

Provide technical expertise for U.S. FAB Projects, Global Alignment, Innovation, and Sustainability initiatives!

Responsibilities

Lead global, regional, and site teams in engineering and design development for U.S. Greenfield FAB projects.

Manage planning, implementation, and completion of electrical field scope, ensuring timely delivery, staying within budget, and meeting quality standards.

Collaborate with multi-functional teams including Facilities, Construction, Procurement, Manufacturing, IT, and Operations.

Develop and implement electrical system build concepts for integration into construction projects.

Coordinate design reviews and ensure high-quality execution across disciplines.

Review and contribute to Micron’s global design standards and specifications.

Provide engineering support during construction phases and ensure compliance with codes and laws.

Lead capacity and scenario planning, and advise on infrastructure scope, schedule, and cost estimates.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

7–10 years of experience in semiconductor and/or facilities-related industries.

Expertise in high, medium, and low voltage systems, backup power, UPS, VFDs, lighting, and distribution systems.

Strong organizational, communication, and team collaboration skills.

Ability to travel internationally 15–25% on average, up to 30% during critical phases.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing and facilities systems.

Experience with global engineering standards and sustainability initiatives.

Proven ability to lead multi-functional teams and manage complex infrastructure projects.
