Job Description The Strategic Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial planning process, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management. This role involves budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling to support decision-making and drive business growth. The Strategic Finance Manager plays a key role in financial reporting, identifying trends, and developing financial strategies to achieve company objectives. Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively are essential for success in this role.

You Will

Develop and implement thorough financial planning and analysis (FP&A) tools, models, processes, policies, and infrastructure that supports all functions, markets, and leaders.

Lead a tightly managed process of reporting and analyzing actuals vs. budget.

Lead ad hoc strategic finance projects to develop insights which enable key market and functional leaders to deeply understand the key performance drivers of our business model and care model.

Prepare comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to effectively communicate key financial metrics to stakeholders.

Partner with key leaders to develop long-term financial strategies and plans.

Collaborate with various functions and departments to ensure their financial strategies align with the organization’s overall business strategy.

Assist with establishing internal controls related to the FP&A function.

Your Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

3-5 years of related experience.

2-3 years of leadership experience.

Experience in finance, accounting, or corporate finance role in venture-backed startups, private equity, investment banking, or other high-growth and entrepreneurial environments.

Understanding of health plan and healthcare provider financial funds flows and regulatory requirements, with an emphasis on Medicare Advantage and Medicaid managed care.

Analytical thinker that will drive qualitative and quantitative analysis for strategic business issues.

Comfort and confidence in your ability to develop Excel models from scratch, as well as audit and adapt existing financial models.

An independent worker who can run down problems with relatively little direction, knows when and how to elevate effectively.

Prior experience building from the ground up or scaling a FP&A function at a high-growth healthcare organization preferred.
