The Senior Supply Chain Systems Analyst will be responsible for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the site’s supply chain operations. This includes evaluating current systems, processes, and technologies to identify opportunities for enhancement and implementing solutions that streamline operations and reduce inefficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

Managing and maintaining accurate supply chain data (Master Data).

Leading enhancements to the site’s ERP system, ensuring all updates comply with computer systems validation requirements, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Developing detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts and material availability to ensure timely delivery and optimal use of resources at the new Kyowa Kirin Manufacturing site in Sanford, NC.

This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing.

Master Data Management and Maintenance

Ensure consistency, accuracy, and accessibility of critical business data across supply chain systems.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure master data solutions meet operational needs.

Monitor and drive improvements to master data quality metrics while maintaining compliance with data governance standards.

ERP System Optimization

Identify and implement opportunities to streamline supply chain operations within the ERP system.

Leverage data analytics and automation tools to improve system performance, reduce manual effort, and enhance decision‑making.

ERP Enhancements and Validation

Lead ERP system upgrades and enhancements in alignment with Kyowa Kirin’s computer systems validation strategy.

Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing to ensure system changes meet business and regulatory requirements.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner with procurement, IT, operations, and logistics teams to implement integrated solutions that support seamless production and supply chain execution.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives through effective communication and alignment across departments.

Production Planning and Scheduling

Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with demand forecasts, customer orders, and material availability.

Analyze demand trends and adjust plans to ensure timely fulfillment and efficient resource utilization.

Allocate labor, equipment, and materials to optimize production flow and minimize downtime.

Track schedule adherence, identify risks or delays, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Data Analysis and Reporting

Analyze supply chain and production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.

Generate and interpret reports on key performance indicators such as lead time, on‑time delivery, and production efficiency.

Provide actionable insights to leadership to support strategic and operational decision‑making.

Continuous Improvement

Lead initiatives to improve supply chain and production planning processes, reduce costs, and enhance operational agility.

Apply lean principles and best practices to streamline workflows and eliminate waste.

Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory expectations to drive innovation and maintain compliance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field required.

Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

Experience & Skills

5‑8 years of experience in supply chain systems analysis, production planning, or ERP implementation within a manufacturing or biotech/pharmaceutical environment.

Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., D365, SAP, Oracle, or similar), data analytics tools, and production scheduling methodologies.

Experience with computer systems validation and User Acceptance Testing using SDLC in a regulated environment.

Proven ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and drive process improvements.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Technical Skills

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.

Strong command of Microsoft Excel.

Proficiency in ERP systems and production planning software.

Proficiency with Microsoft D365 a plus.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and use of Standard Work is a plus.

Compensation The anticipated salary for this position will be $97,800 to $127,700. The actual salary offered at commencement may vary based on factors including experience, skill set, qualifications, education, and location.
