We're seeking an experienced IAM professional to manage and enhance a SailPoint IdentityIQ platform. This role will focus on configuring, maintaining, and integrating identity governance solutions that protect enterprise systems and ensure secure access across business applications. The ideal candidate excels in a collaborative environment, possesses strong technical acumen, and plays a pivotal role in advancing the organization's cybersecurity posture.

$50-65 / hr

Roles & Responsibilities
Administer and maintain the SailPoint IdentityIQ environment, including configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Design and update workflows, policies, and connectors to support evolving access management requirements.
Lead upgrades, patching, and version migrations while ensuring minimal downtime and full documentation.
Develop and maintain APIs to enable identity automation and integration with third-party and cloud-based systems.
Implement and refine Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) frameworks to enforce least privilege principles.
Analyze user access data to identify patterns, define roles, and optimize entitlement structures.
Coordinate regular access reviews and certifications in alignment with compliance standards.
Partner with application owners, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to onboard new systems into SailPoint.
Conduct functional and regression testing to validate new configurations or releases.
Contribute to process documentation, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives within the IAM program.
Required Skills & Experience
MUST HAVE experience developing and / or administering SailPoint to qualify
5+ years of experience in identity and access management, including at least 1 year working directly with SailPoint IdentityIQ.
Strong understanding of IAM principles such as provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews, and RBAC.
Hands‑on experience developing SailPoint connectors and customizations using Java.
Familiarity with directory services (e.g., Active Directory, Entra ID), SSO platforms (e.g., Okta), and cloud IAM integrations.
Exposure to CI / CD pipelines, configuration-as-code practices, and automation tools.
Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance best practices.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills with a high attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
Customer‑focused mindset with proven experience gathering requirements and driving technical solutions.
Strong problem‑solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
