Quality Assurance Manager Are you passionate about quality assurance and leadership? Join our clients' dynamic team as a Quality Assurance Manager and play a pivotal role in ensuring the excellence of our delicious, plant‑powered products. Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the quality assurance program across all production stages, from raw materials to finished goods.
Ensure compliance with HACCP, Food Safety standards, and relevant certifications.
Monitor, analyze, and report on KPIs related to product quality and food safety.
Conduct internal audits, inspections, and oversee corrective actions.
Troubleshoot and resolve product quality issues promptly.
Maintain updated documentation, retention samples, and certificates of analysis.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and strategic alignment of QA efforts.
Coach and develop QA Technicians, fostering a culture of excellence.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and support customer complaint resolution.
Work flexible shifts as needed to ensure quality standards are maintained.
What We're Looking For
Proven leadership experience in a food production QA environment.
Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or related field.
Strong knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety, and Quality Assurance principles.
Excellent analytical, data analysis, and problem‑solving skills.
Effective communicator with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Detail‑oriented with a strategic mindset.
Professional, trustworthy, and reliable.
Ability to adapt and thrive in a constantly evolving environment.
Must Have
Food experience in a manufacturing setting.
Experience solving complex QA/QC technical issues.
Compensation Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
