Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications
MBA degree.
2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
2 years of experience creating data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
About The Job The Scaled Strategies and Programs (SS&P) team is centrally positioned within Americas Business Strategy and Operations. Our focus is on incubating, scaling, and executing sales strategies, motions, and programs to foster operational excellence, accountability, and new avenues for growth within the Americas Large Customer Sales (ALCS) business. We are responsible for core sales motions, including customer plans and pipeline management, as well as strategic sales programs such as Total Opportunity and engaged selling. Our mission is to empower ambitious, confident sellers who unlock total opportunity by helping customers find more growth and value with Google.
As a Strategy and Operations Lead, you will be responsible for delivering transformational initiatives that are foundational to the success and growth of the Americas LCS team. You will partner closely with executive stakeholders as well as cross‑functional partners across GTM, LCS, Finance, Marketing, etc. to drive scaled strategy and execution.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever‑evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go‑to‑market strategy and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy.
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $147,000‑$216,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
Responsibilities
Shape and execute ALCS’s strategic priorities and guide executive decision‑making on ALCS’s scaled sales strategies and business‑driving programs.
Align strategic sales strategies with day‑to‑day sales motions/operations and identify and pilot early‑stage ideas into future‑growth initiatives.
Partner with global counterparts and many cross‑functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Sales, Product, Learning and Development, etc.) to scale best practices and learnings and align plans to drive optimal impact.
Collaborate with in‑market GTM teams to scale execution and develop continuous feedback loops to enable ongoing improvements to scaled strategies and programs.
