Base pay for this position starts at $20.58 per hour.
Job Summary Working under the direction of licensed personnel, assists patients with activities of daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating. Also assists with taking patients’ temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
Responsibilities
Performs vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs with accuracy and within established time frame.
Completes all documentation in the medical record as required.
Interacts with patients and their families effectively.
Helps patients with basic hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toilet use.
Assists patients in turning, repositioning, and moving between bed and wheelchair.
Listens to patient concerns and reports them to the nursing staff.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
Experience:
1–2 years of patient care or medical assisting in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Licenses and Credentials:
Nursing Assistant / Certified Patient Care Technician (NCCT) required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Empathetic, patient‑centered care with respect for privacy.
Accurate monitoring, documentation, and prompt reporting of changes.
Excellent interpersonal communication with patients, families, and healthcare team.
Physical ability to lift, move patients, and stand for extended periods.
Collaborative mindset working with nursing staff.
Resourceful response to patient needs.
